Something exciting is happening at Cedarbrae Mall in 2024. You may have noticed our renovation on the former 120,000+ sf Walmart box facing Lawrence Avenue East. This large box has been demised into 24 individual mixed-use units that have been leased to key national and local retailers, to better serve the Scarborough neighbourhood.

We’re excited to unveil the new portion of Cedarbrae Mall! The two-story space features extensive exterior upgrades including fresh store front facades, additional public space, smoothly paved sidewalks and parking lot, and a convenient new main entry to the mall. The 16 individual ground floor units will consist of several larger format spaces facing the exterior of the mall, as well as many small-sized interior-facing units catering to local businesses.

Cedarbrae Mall serves the surrounding family-oriented neighbourhoods with over 103,325 households and a population exceeding 291,400 within a 5km radius. First Capital is pleased to contribute to the growth and revitalization of the Cedarbrae community and continue our work in building thriving neighbourhoods.
